The ninth season of The Big Bang Theory was released on DVD and Blu-ray today in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The three-disc DVD and two-disc Blu-ray sets contain all twenty-four episodes from The Big Bang Theory's latest season along with new bonus features. A box-set featuring the complete The Big Bang Theory Seasons 1-9 was also released on DVD and Blu-ray.
The bonus features on the Season 9 box-sets include the featurettes "The Big Bang Theory Gives Back", "BBT: The Big 200", "Love IS Rocket Science", "#Just Ask BBT: If I Had To Go To Mars...", "#Just Ask BBT: Who Will Get The Couch?"; footage of The Big Bang Theory's 2015 Comic-Con Panel, and a Gag Reel.
Fans in Australia and New Zealand have just a little longer to wait as Season 9 is released on DVD and Blu-ray there in two days' time, on Wednesday, August 31.
In the United States and Canada, The Big Bang Theory: Season 9 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, September 13, right before The Big Bang Theory returns for its tenth season on Monday, September 19.
